What is MBGLL SELECT LEAGUE?
The mission of the Mass Bay Girl Lacrosse League (MBGLL) is to provide an opportunity to challenge the more experienced and competitive MBGLL players to play high-level lacrosse.
2021 Select Season
We are happy to announce that there will be an MBGLL Select Season this spring for the U13 and U15 girls. The start date will be mid-May and run until the end of June with actual dates to be defined. The expectations for this season are that these games will be played on Friday nights with one extra practice during the week (day TBD). Like last season, Burlington and Billerica will be combining for a “RedHawks” team. For any girl who made the team last year, you are automatically eligible to play this year. If you didn’t play last year and are interested in playing this season or knowing more about the program please reach out to Mike Delorey or Mark Jannoni. Given the continuing COVID-19 protocols, we won’t be holding an official tryout or scheduling any tryout dates this year. If you are on the fence and would like to discuss further or know more about the program, I highly encourage you to reach out! For those who were on the roster last year, please let us know if you are or are not playing this year. Lastly, I just want to say that while this is a more competitive league you do not need to be, nor do we expect the girls to be experts in the game. We are estimating the cost for the team to be $125.
We look forward to hearing from you all. For those interested, if you could let us know by Sunday, March 28th that would be greatly appreciated.

Who is eligible to tryout?
In order to not jeopardize the integrity of the MBGLL Classic program and league mission, all players participating in MBGLL Select must be a member of US Lacrosse and affiliated with MBGLL by participating in MBGLL’s Classic league, practices and games.
